Our Testimonials

Coming from the academia, I had a different idea of what working in the industry entail.
I remember the day I got called to come pick up my offer letter for the role of lean six sigma coordinator. I kept wondering what the role was all about.

Fast forward into resumption and months later, I will say this is an excellent path to start a career in the industry. The experience has been a rigorous while still an exciting one where you get to learn so much in a short time.

My exposure to various fields and departments in the industry, as well as the commitment of the organization to my personal and professional development is one of the highlights of the Dufil six sigma program.
I have also had the opportunity to be exposed to top management and leaders in the organization who mentor and set me on the right track.

The ability of the organization to trust and delegate key responsibilities to me in a path to my career development, I believe will help me grow into a better leader in the industry.
This also gives a sense of belonging and inclusiveness which has continuously made Dufil a great organization to be.

Sedoten Ogun QA head
Dufil Prima Foods Plc
Kaduna Factory.

My journey began in November 2017 having just completed a Master’s degree in Engineering and with little industrial work experience.
My career path at DUFIL has been on a fast track. I started as a lean six sigma facilitator and was trained and equipped with necessary skills needed to execute assigned responsibilities. With knowledge acquired through trainings and on the job, I was able to lead teams with focus on overcoming business challenges, reducing variations in processes, streamlining operations while improving product quality and ensuring sustainability of improvement measures in two (2) distinct businesses.

In January 2021 (a span of 3 years), I rose to managerial cadre (Production Manager) where I was tasked with the responsibility of managing production operations at the Snacks Factory. In May 2022, having showed competence in previous roles held, I was entrusted with a larger responsibility of managing the production operations as a Manager in Noodles plant at Port Harcourt.

So far, I have had an awesome journey with Dufil and I can see a clear career path where trust, humility, courage, competence and hard-work is rewarded. The future is indeed bright and exciting with DUFIL.

I started my journey with Dufil in November, 2017 as a Six Sigma Facilitator having just completed my bachelor and master degree programs in Chemical Engineering from Moscow State University of Fine Chemical Technologies, Russia. At Dufil, it has been a fast learning curve and progression. I underwent series of essential trainings needed to excel on the job, while also acquiring important learnings and knowledge on the job. As Six Sigma Facilitator, I was able to apply my learnings in carrying out improvement projects at Ota, Port Harcourt and Kaduna Noodles Plants. In January 2021, having developed essential abilities and capacities and also owing to the trust and confidence entrusted to me by Dufil Management and Mentors, I was promoted to the role of Production Manager, Kaduna Plant. So far, it has been an amazing journey with Dufil and I can see the future is even looking brighter.

Tolulope Oladapo Production Manager
Dufil Prima Foods Plc
Kaduna Noodle Plant

Working with Dufil for the past 6 years has been amazing. The culture of excellence resonates so much with me personally, the relentless push for continuous improvement despite great levels of performance in Dufil has helped me to a great start in my career.

One of the most interesting things about Dufil is its unwavering faith in young people.
I have never seen any company entrust so much responsibility on people with minimal experience as Dufil does. With a robust support system driven by experienced senior managers, young people are able to find their feet in no time.
I am a product of this great system, I now manage the entire operations of a factory with just 6 years post graduation experience.

Dufil is definitely the place to be for any young graduate who wants to pursue a career in the FMCG industry.

Ibukun Onifade Factory Manager
Dufil Prima Foods Plc
Seasoning Division

My journey so far in Dufil starting as a Lean Six Sigma Facilitator is what I’ll say has been challenging one but at the same time fulfilling.

I have had the opportunity to work for a number of subsidiaries in the group where I have had the opportunity to relate with people from different cultural background and this has made me to understand that it is people who are driven by purpose and guided by values.

Working with several teams and stakeholders over the years has broadened my perception of how to handle several situations by seeing things from other’s point of view and it has made me to effectively communicate with impact thereby moving people to action.

We never stop learning but definitely on a quest to daily unlearn and relearn in a bid to remain relevant in a fast evolving world.
I therefore believe the exposure and leadership roles given to me by Dufil will help me to achieve my desired career goal.
